About Me
Elizabeth Dameworth, vocalist, educator, and conductor, holds a BA in Vocal Performance and an MA in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Conducting and the Kodaly Method. An international performer, Elizabeth has appeared on stages across France, Italy, New York City, and the American Southwest. Highlighted operatic credits include Le Feu, Le Rossignol, and Hansel, as well as soloist engagements for Handel's Messiah.
Elizabeth’s distinguished vocal training includes study under Dr. Jason Vest and Metropolitan Opera Competition finalist Dr. Jean Ornellas. A versatile multi-instrumentalist, Elizabeth has played piano for 20 years—training under Dr. John Olsen, a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music at Eastern New Mexico University and continuing education with Dr. Sauppe, a graduate of Eastman School of Music. Elizabeth studied classical guitar for 12 years under the guidance of Ambrose Rivera, an acclaimed author. Also a certified educator in the state of New Mexico and Colorado, Elizabeth combines motherhood of two beautiful girls, a performance career, and a passionate commitment to professional academic instruction.
